I have a lot to report today,
Wednesday, March 1, 2006. Instead of placing this part
of the update on the News and Gossip page, I decided to put it here on the home page of Inside Everwood instead. It’s that important.
I have it on extremely excellent
authority that this may be Everwood’s last season.
I know . . . gasp.
It’s not because the ratings
are low. They remain excellent. Have you heard about the UPN & WB merger? Well, the name of the new station is (as far
as I know) the CW network, which stands for CBS/Warner. CW has picked up a few shows that are being broadcast on the WB. The
jury’s out on whether CW will option Everwood.
So . . . write CBS. Write the
WB. Write whomever you feel you want to know how you feel about keeping fresh episodes of Everwood on the
air. Meanwhile, there is some good news.
First, Everwood
has a syndication deal with ABC Family Channel. Yey! Second, despite its long absence from being on the air, Everwood
will return with fresh episodes on MARCH 27. Now, there’s some dispute about what night the show will air. It was on
Monday, then it was moved to Thursday, and now . . . it looks as if it will be back on Monday’s again, 8 p.m. Central
Standard Time.
So there you have it. I got it
online as soon as I could! Now,
on to business.
